Some weddings leave a lasting impression because every single detail feels intentional, and Eleanor and Nick’s wedding day was exactly that. Their ceremony at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Mountain Brook, Alabama, followed by an unforgettable reception at the Birmingham Museum of Art, was the perfect blend of elegance and bold, artistic design. Planned to perfection by Jane B. Dickens Events, the entire celebration transformed the museum into a vibrant, welcoming space inspired by Eleanor’s incredible vision. Guests enjoyed cocktails outdoors before stepping inside to discover custom statement bars, a cozy lounge-inspired dining room, lush florals by Amanda Ransom Designs, colorful linens, layered textures, and one of the most stylish wedding receptions I’ve ever photographed. Shades of green, warm oranges, and buttery yellows carried throughout the design—from the bridesmaids’ mismatched green dresses to Eleanor’s vintage lime-green Manolo Blahnik heels. It truly was a celebration that felt sophisticated, playful, and completely unique.
