Capturing Maddie and Patrick’s wedding at The Vineyard at High Holly in North Carolina was such a privilege. Oopsie Daisy Florals created the dreamiest arrangements that tied in beautifully with the mismatched sage bridesmaid dresses and the soft, natural elegance of the vineyard.

But the moment none of us will ever forget happened as Maddie walked down the aisle to “Cornfield Chase” by Hans Zimmer—right as a rain shower swept over the ceremony site. It was truly cinematic. Guests were drenched, laughing, and fully embracing the moment as the two exchanged vows under the misty vineyard backdrop. And in the most poetic twist for this golden couple, the sun broke through just in time for sunset portraits among the vines. The best part of it all? Maddie and Patrick are two of the kindest, most genuine souls. Their friends were incredible—supportive, joyful, and the reason the entire day felt seamless and fun. Cheering this duo on, always!

Surrounded by rolling vines and their closest people, they settled into the onsite cottages before kicking off the festivities with a warm welcome party in the Wine Garden—celebrating across the venue’s stunning spaces.
