My name is Maddie. I'm an Atlanta native and moved around a lot growing up, which I think ultimately cultivated my love for travel. I pursued journalism and design during my college years, which paved the way for my pursuit as a freelance photographer. Self-admittedly, I’ve always been a bit of a sentimental soul. Growing up, I'd spent hours sifting through my parent’s old film scans and looking back on family vacation photos. I loved the magical feeling of tangibly holding a memory. My hope is that the photographs I capture will serve as reminders of the goodness all around you.

I discovered my love for photography at a very early age. My first portraits were taken on a hot pink Barbie® polaroid camera, and I later learned how to develop film in a darkroom. As a kid, I spent hours upon hours going through my parents old photographs—listening to the stories behind each of them. I never realized my hobby could become a career until after college when I took my first job as an art director at a magazine. I fell in love with planning photoshoots, styling, and directing to create bold imagery. My experience in print journalism and design truly served as the catalyst for this business. While I may have updated my toolkit from that first 90s polaroid, storytelling is still the root of my passion.
