My name is Maddie. I'm an Atlanta native who moved around a lot growing up, which ultimately cultivated my love for travel. I pursued journalism and graphic design during my college years, which paved the way for my pursuit as a freelance photographer. In 2017, I married my husband, Jeremy, and officially launched my business.

MEET MADDIE

BEHIND THE BRAND

Maddie is a Birmingham based wedding photographer and art director capturing stories across the southeast.

I discovered my love for photography at a very early age. My first portraits were taken on a hot pink Barbie® polaroid camera, and in high school I learned how to develop film in the darkroom. As a kid, I spent hours upon hours going through my parent's old photographs—listening to the stories behind each of them.

I never imagined my hobby could evolve into a career until I began my first job as an art director at a magazine. It was there that I discovered my passion for planning photoshoots, styling, and directing to create bold imagery. With my foundation in journalism and editorial photography, I felt confident I had a blend of valuable skills to launch this business. While I have updated my toolkit from that first 90s polaroid, storytelling remains the root of my passion.
