Meet The Stevens! Kristi and Will are such a wonderful couple. I met Kristi many years ago at Camp Merrie-Woode where we worked as camp counselors together during the summer. Kristi is one of those people that you love to be around because she has such a fun and kind spirit about her. It was a joy to reconnect with an old friend and I was ecstatic to hear she was interested in having me document her special day. I met Will for the first time at their Biltmore Estate engagement session last winter and I immediately knew Kristi had found a good one.

Kristi and Will tied the knot at the stunning Farm at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, North Carolina. Highlands holds so many special memories for me and it always feels good to be back in this magical mountain town. Their wedding day flowed effortlessly and was planned by the talented Altaterra Events. The brilliant backdrop for their ceremony and all florals were designed by Petal and Fern WNC.

There were so many special moments throughout their day. Their dog, Stevie, was their flower girl. The rain held off until the end of formal photos (you’ll see in the blog post a photo of Kristi and Will when the rain started again in the flower gardens before we ran for cover)— they embraced it all with grace. Kristi surprised Will with a fun reception dress change and they danced the night away with friends + family. They drove off in a vintage car after their sparkler exit, Amalfi Coast bound for their honeymoon.
